Keep out of electrical danger
If water touches outlets, a panel, a furnace, or an appliance, do not step into the water or operate a switch there. If power cannot be shut off from a dry place, call an electrician. CDC guidance is linked below.
The first decision is safety, then the water source, then the removal and drying plan.
Calls connect to an answering service provider. Share your street address and the water source to confirm availability and scope.

Was the water from a burst supply line, failed sump pump, floor drain, or outside rain? That determines whether plumbing repair, contaminated-water cleanup, or pumping should come first.
Give the full 49014, 49015, 49017, or 49037 property address, approximate depth, affected rooms, and whether water is still entering. Photos from a safe dry place can help document the loss.
Visible water removal is only the first stage. Ask how carpet, padding, wall bases, and subflooring will be checked before they are covered again.
